So your question is "What makes you think a person with a major handicap isn't qualified to play basketball in Div. I?"

Sure. He's 6-4. I watched his highlight tape, I didn't see how missing a hand prevents him from riding the bench for a Division I basketball team. He can still catch, shoot, dunk, dribble, etc.

Yeah, he can. He uses both arms when he shoots too. His biggest problem is gonna be going left.

I'll say this and then leave it alone. He can attempt to walk on anywhere, BD isn't doing anything special.

Looking at the video he certainly doesn't look like a D-1 basketball player to me, but luckily my opinion means nothing and I wish the kid all the luck in the world.
