Here are my noteables still out there:
1) Dante Cunningham. Think he could be a really nice piece to a lot of different teams, depending on what sort of role he's looking to play. Nice 3/4 hybrid player that can be a high energy competitor.
Best fit: Minnesota. Think Minnesota could use another rugged player who's going to go out and compete every minute on the floor. Guy is pure hustle.
2) Wayne Ellington. Really good 3/D player who could possibly be a spot starter, but would ideally be a great reserve.
Best fit: Dallas Mavericks. Wes Matthews is on the last year of his contract and Elliington could be a nice replacement for him. He'd be ideal as a SG next to two play makers in DSJ and Luka.
3) Greg Monroe. He's a pretty poor defender, but there's no denying his ability to put the ball in the hole. He'd be a huge benefit to a team who's lacking some interior punch and could be instant offense type player off the bench, if not starter.
Best fit: Lakers. They are really depleted in the front court. He'd be an ideal roll guy in a P&R with Lonzo and Lebron, being able to finish in the paint with actual skill and not just lob ability.
4) Isaiah Thomas. Everyone seems to forget he was still coming off injury last year, which directly affected his performance. That and having to play along Lebron was a big detriment to his numbers. I think he's still a really quality player and think he'd be worth a flier on a 2 year contract for some younger teams for him to bring his competitiveness.
Best fit: Hawks (2 year deal). I think he'd be an ideal guy for Trae Young to learn from. Young still needs to learn shot selection and IT runs a beautiful P&R which they're hoping Trae can be. IT being an undersized guard can help Young who's also on the smaller side learn some of the tricks of the trade to creating space for his shot.
