By winning, the Panthers just moved the Kings 1st round pick (which the Jackets own) up 1 spot.

They also moved the Bruins first round pick (Owned by the Leafs) up 5.

It was mentioned several times during the broadcast, but now it's official...

I don't think it's fair to call this choking.

It's not like a team with an all time great regular season record lost to the team with the lowest points in the playoffs.....oh wait

Well its not like they blew a 3-1 series lead, losing in three straight series clinching games....oh wait

Well its not like they were ahead with a minute to go only to give up a tying goal....oh wait

Was an amazing regular season. I’m disappointed that Bergy didn’t get a good run. We may have seen his last game. Like his interview he was all class unlike a few posters in here.

For those wondering, Brandon Montour is a UFA after next season.

I’m gonna take a stab the Caps were the previous “record holder” for that category. You can have our playoff folds, but you’ll never match our 8-win season!! ;)

I'm sure you don't mean me. Just wondering who.

I mean I posted maybe 10 times in this thread, when the Habs are in the playoffs every other post in those threads are yours. Posts all displaying your patented complete misunderstanding of game action and complete ignorance of NHL rules. And of course nothing but class from you.

Plus you tagged me in posts announcing you were coming here for the playoffs, like I give a fuck. Don't cry for my attention then when I give it to you pretend you don't want it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned...
2023 marks the first time that both overall #1s in the NBA--MIL (58-24) and NHL--BOS (65-12-5, 135) were ousted in the 1st round after playing their full 82-game schedules.

this may have been the last kick at the can for the Bruins

$4.5 Million in bonus overages for next season (from bonuses on Bergeron/Krejci +35 contracts)

$38 million in 7 signed forwards
$27 million in 6 d-men
$5 million in 1 goalie
$1.9 million in buried cap hit
---------
$76.4 million out of an expected cap of $83.5MM
leaves about $7million for 9 players left to fill out the roster.

too bad GM's don't poach RFA's, as Swayman would be a nice target as well

in the next two drafts, they have no 1st's, no 2nd's, and one 3rd
