Kendall out at least till September, maybe longer. Had surgery on it today.

I hear the DL is getting blown off the ball repeatedly and with great vigor.

Gonna be a loooooooong season of we can't stop the run.

I'm gonna drop off a few hundred cases of deer antler spray outside the new dorm.

Probably true, but OL is supposed to be one of OU's strengths this year. So that could be expected somewhat. Still, the defense has to improve or you're right, it'll be a very long season...

The only saving grace will be the establishment of ball control.

Gonna have to run the ball more often, and do it well.

Keep the D off of the field.

Hope we have functional TE's that can peel off of blocks giving "the new QB" some dump options.

I don't think Mike can shore up the defense in his 2nd year, like it needs to be.

The offense shouldn't need to score 40+pts to win games, but that's the way it's shaping up, again.

I agree, it's going to take a couple of years to change bring in the type of athletes or player that Mike Stoops wanted, heck even the same thing with Montgomery/Bedenbaugh. \

I remember watching last year which was Mike's first year and thinking. Damn, what kind of athletes has Venerables been recruiting, these guys are getting blown off the ball or manhandled?

was my thought exactly, but in reality I saw it slipping for years.
our defensive front gets no push, and never gets to QB's.
it's pathetic really.
Bob is the only one to blame for that.
