Dunning is the only starter so far to go 5 innings. I'd like to see each of them do that this series.

Also, it seems notable that Howard has not been named the starter for tomorrow's game. It would be his turn.

We have a long problem staying with players that never fully succeed. I hope that is no longer the case and Howard is on a very short list.

my guess is, if Howard isn't the starter, they'll use someone as a opener and then try to get 3 out of Howard.

When looking at our young pitchers coming up, I see no reason to keep hoping for a miracle with Howard. He may work out some day but if he does it likely will be some other place.

Just seems like a wasted trade. Gibson, Kennedy and Crouse should have brought back a better package. Don’t mean to kick a dead horse..

It's ok to kick a dead horse. We just don't want to ride one and that is what I hope does not happen with Howard. We got rid of two that cost us $'s and two horses.
