Hmm, may give it another shot. But you have to go the website and download it, it won't upgrade your current 32-bit version.

Firefox is bizarre... the linux versions I have been running have been 64 bit for years. Strange they took this long to come out with a 64 bit Windows variety. Usually it's the other way around.

Some developers (Opera) have given up on 64 bit, some have stopped developing for Linux (Maxthon). I'm curious as to whether Vivaldi will go the 64-bit route. Vivaldi seems to have a lot of promise from my testing it on Ubuntu.
