26 points allowed to this year's Texas team
31 points allowed to Kansas State
30 points allowed to Texas Tech
38 points allowed to Oklahoma State

Meanwhile, the offense has been put up 30+ points in every game except Baylor, even playing with a backup QB who can't pass a third of the season. Does the offense have problems getting those last few points up at the end of close games? Sure, but with all the points that they're scoring, they shouldn't even have to be in that position in the first place.

This fucking defense that can't blitz, can't cover, and can't tackle is the problem.

Its a direct result of Josh's offensive game plan. He can't adjust, his schemes take to long to develop and if one thing hiccups he goes ape shit. We fail at scoring in the red zone at 80% ranking 76th in the nation due to his bullshit play calling.

The end of that game was a fail. The OT was a fail. Remember the end of the TCU game, offensive FAIL. The KSU game, Pick six fail. Baylor ineptness. The defense sucks no doubt. How often do we go 3 and out? Our 3rd down conversion rate is shit, 40%. Time of possesion is 49%. Our defense is on the field more than our offense. That's the problem. With the running game we have you telling me we can't hold the advantage in TOP?

I remember telling you guys this when he stopped getting the top talent from Texas......you guys argued us down that he didn't need the top talent from Texas. I stand by my point......he's GOT to get players from Texas to win. Trying to recruit nationwide is a mistake. Find one fertile ground, and mine the hell out of it. Add other ones later, after you've locked down one source for talent. Look at what Strong is doing......he's getting good talent in Texas, and cherry picking Florida talent. Stick with what works.

IDK, 4 wins in a row, 3 against ranked teams (at the time). Your defense has always sucked, but your offense is ridiculously good....good enough to get you to the playoffs and win the conference title 3 years in a row.
