Close to being 0-2 in the division but let's just focus on a win against Carolina. Who knows how good Carolina is?

The next two weeks the Steelers should beat Tampa and Jacksonville and the SHEEP will be saying: "Still think the Steelers aren't great?" Propaganda artists!

they are better than most teams especially the Not Yet jets cause they totally suck ... im not expecting a perfect season or a bunch of pretty wins cause that just isnt steeler football.. steeler football is won in the trenches .. the only numbers that matter are the ones on the score board at the end of the game and as long as the steelers have the higher score by 1 point or 100 points im good with that cause all that counts is the W in the books .. so they can take the stats and stick em where the sun doesnt shine ...

Almost 0-2 in DIV...lol...that's called pessimism.

I had the Steelers at 2-1 at this point and 7-1 going into IND...schedule sets up for 10 wins...if they sweep CLE...11.

We shall see.

Says the guy who has nothing positive about the team that he feels is his flavor for the year....

And just think they have a super bowl every year so you can cheer for a new team!!!

yea get rid of him now that the season has started .. thats a great solution ..

No, keep him for a few more meaningless seasons! He can make a few more sideline tackles.

all im getting at is that if we get rid of him it should be at the end of the season .. cause if we got rid of him today the season would be more dismal than what it is now

That sounds fair. I think he should go if we miss the postseason again. Really think we need to win a playoff game, but at least make the playoffs.

I've been saying that since last year. He was probably the best in his day, but the game has past him by.

IDK if 9-7 gets in, but imo if they fail to go at least 9-7 with this schedule I think a change should be made...Tomlin, Lebeau, Haley, Colbert really should all be shown the door.

The team still has a lot of holes, (LT, NT, CB most notably, maybe OLB, certainly depth) but 8-8 while retaining vets that we KNOW are past their prime is really just delaying the inevitable...sets the team back even further.

Lebeau and Colbert would be my 'scapegoats' depending on how the offense finishes up the rest of the season. Mainly for the lack of finding talent/development and inability to transition new players onto the field effectively.

I think there is something to be said for Tomlin's ability to delegate well as he has done in the not so recent past. And if the offense has a good year, I don't see a reason to change. Although I would want to make it clear to Tomlin that he isn't getting a free pass.

Anything less a winning season...I would have an itchy trigger finger, but mine as well...especially if Tomlin stays...he's basically played with Lebeau's 3-4 DEF cards from the getgo and his background is a 4-3. I've been saying for a while now (since Hampton) that the personnel kinda favors a 4-3 scheme or could easily convert.

Haley may be a great OFCive mind, but as a play caller he leaves something to desire for me.

Colbert...I really get the sense that he was glad to see Cowher leave b/c it was well noted that Bill wanted personnel power and his wife falling ill wasn't the only reason he left. With Tomlin being so young when he took the job, I think Colbert pretty much had free rein on the picks until the last 2 seasons...a much more noticeable presence from Tomlin at pro days/combine, etc.
