(4)--13
(5)--6
(8)--5
(6)--3
(11)--3
(7)--2
(9)--1
(10)--1

Hard to believe an 8 seed has made the FF as many times as a 6 and 7 seed combined. Two 8 seeds in one Final Four alone (2000, UNC and Wisconsin).

I remember that year. My bracket was screwed beyond belief. (8)No Carolina beat (7)Tulsa 59-55 in the Elite Eight. Tulsa's coach at the time was Bill Self. Tulsa has been a breeding ground for major coaches---Nolan Richardson, Tubby Smith, Self, etc. They all seem to go elsewhere and win National Championships.
