Fiedorowicz and the Stopped Fake Punt

Happy to finally see CJ becoming the TE we all wanted him to be. While I still think he's a little soft, the kid has turned into a big time playmaker and always comes up big when it seems to count most. That TD catch was huge yesterday and I'm happy to eat a little crow for calling the kid out for the last 2 seasons.

And hey, no one has talked about it yet but WE STOPPED A FAKE PUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Granted, that was the single worst fake punt attempt I've ever seen by any football team - high school up to the NFL - but we stopped it. Huge momentum swing too, I believe we scored on the very next play with the Kevonte TD.

Both were awesome, but even less predictable was 3 straight blitzes

I agree with you here. CJF did some real nice things the other day. Nebraska's fake punt was a pathetic attempt. Iowa's defense read that play so easy it was awesome to see. I'm glad that play didn't bite Iowa in the rear right there.
