I just re-watched XLVIII again and gave the half time show a second look. I actually thought Bruno Mars and RHCP did a phenomenal show, and I'm not even a Mars fan.

The other one that I thought was extremely cool was Prince in Miami going crazy on the electric guitar in the middle of a downpour. That was outstanding. Probably my favorite for sure.

That's mine, too. The act that I thought was the best to have done it, is Paul McCartney because it's cool that he did it - BUT I could see how many, if not most, found it boring and him old. I would have preferred him doing it years or decades earlier. U2 was cool - I liked the flag inside his jacket - my dad thought it was corny or something - but that was right after 9/11 and he's not an American - so it was good support.

I didn't see it live that I remember, but it was cool that Michael Jackson did it, too.

I knew some people would pick U2. I guess they did a pretty good show, but I've just never liked that band. Going all the way back to the 80's I just never liked U2. They seemed to preachy to me. Too much politics and save the world kind of stuff for a rock band. But that's just me. I know they have a huge following.

I remember watching this live and thinking what the hell is he doing just standing there for so long. MJ was a pretty unique talent, too bad all his weirdness turned him into some kind of weird sideshow freak.

I love me some U2. Such a great band. Dont really get in to or follow their politics, just the tunes.

My buddy's drunk gf doing a bit of a striptease maybe 15 years ago was by far the best halftime show I have ever seen. The half-time show is just an excuse to go and eat, or piss, or do anything but watch.

Got to see U2 almost 30 years ago in Ottawa, Canada, in a tiny minor hockey arena in General Admission, 10 feet from the stage. Friggin' awesome. Saw the Police the same way, then Sting again when he toured alone.

They should trash all the high profile "Shock Value / Wardrobe Malfunction" wanna-be's and show the world what Old-Time American Football was about at Halftimes

FILL the Stadium w/ the best most POWERFUL Marching Drumlines in the Country and ROCK the House

Prince & nobody else is even close. I'm curious how many other performers would have even gone on stage. Prince performed in a DOWNPOUR. The rain was crazy that day.

Bieber and Miley kill them. I do admit I like watching the Wahlbergers show on TV. Donnie is actually cool, Marky Mark not so much

Megadeth and Avenged Sevenfold.....oh wait...that hasn't happened ,but it would be a great SB halftime show that I might watch. The last one I watched was with my kid when Janet had that tit shot and I had to explain to her it might not have been real. :L
