There are quite a lot that I enjoyed over the years, but I'll list the most unforgettable ones.

Rules for this post are

1. DO NOT include your favorite team
2. DO NOT include games that you only saw highlights for, these are strictly games that you watched most of (at least 3 quarters, but preferably start to finish)
3. List the reasons/play that made it such an amazing/crazy game
4. National Championships/Playoff Semifinals/BIG 6 Bowls are not allowed. Only regular season, conference championships, and normal bowl games. I say this because, well, most everybody with a heart for college football and a penis watched those games, so they aren't as unique an experience. And to be honest, most of those included our favorite teams.

Here is my top 5:

1. 2009 LSU @ Ole Miss - If you want a back and forth, crazy and unexpected game with a legendary ending, this is it. If you had to sum up Les Miles career coaching LSU, just watch this game. Also, Dexter McCluster was an insanely underrated running back.

2. 2005 Michigan vs. Nebraska (Alamo Bowl) - The days of Lloyd Carr and Bill Calahan brought us an instant classic in the bowl season. This game almost, ALMOST became Cal/Stanford. Such an amazing, well played game on both sides, with an ending for the ages. I miss the days that both of these teams were always in the national conversation.

3. 2010 Boise State @ Nevada - Ahh... the old WAC days. To be fair, this game featured two college football quarterback legends in Kellen Moore and Colin Kaepernick. And it was arguably the greatest non P5 game of all time. A lot of people forget that this wasn't a close game at halftime. Boise State had a sizable lead, but Kaepernick and the Wolfpack surmounted an incredible and improbable comeback against one of the most dominant and well-coached G5 teams ever. The choke was real for the Broncos. But what's a classic game if the underdog doesn't win?

4. 2008 Texas @ Texas Tech - Most of you probably watched this, but I had to include it. This was the moment that I thought Texas might be able to squeak through their schedule unscathed, and possibly finish undefeated. Mike Leach knew Tech had maybe 2 plays left, but little did he know Micheal Crabtree would make an all-or-nothing play and work to stay in bounds, which threw the Texas defenders off, and tip-toe into the endzone with 1 second left to take the lead against a Longhorn team that probably could have won the national championship that season if Oklahoma had not been voted above them. This game had a legendary ending and featured many future NFL players as well.

5. 2006 Louisville @ Rutgers - remember when Rutgers was good? And the Big East was full of good teams? Yeah it's been a minute. This was an awesome game, and easily the biggest Rutgers win in a long time. Mike Teel was QB for Rutgers and his runningback was none other than former Ravens star Ray Rice. Greg Schiano was also Rutgers head coach. This was a classic back and forth game with a good old fashioned walk-off ending.

That's my list of my favorite, most unforgettable games that I watched wire-to-wire, while following the rules above. What have you guys got?

That Michigan-OSU game that was like 10 years ago when they were ranked 1 and 2.

Obviously that Iron Bowl with the missed FG TD return.

BOise State over Oklahoma Fiesta Bowl

Those three come to mind first.

This is my list, in no particular order, just some of the games that have always stuck out with me.

-Michael Vick coming out party for me. Hadn't been able to watch a game of his until this game. He was something that I had never seen before. On a side note this happened the same day that Penn State lost to Minnesota, thus Va. Tech was playing to be #2 in the country. I only say that because that Penn State/Minnesota game almost mad my list. Just a stunning result.

- One of my favorite rivalry games growing up. What a fantastic game.

- One of the biggest upsets growing up. It was one of those games where I know exactly what I was doing when the MSU player intercepted the football. I think I remember this game so vividly because I was stunned by the result, because of the comeback.

- Another game that just stuck out to me. The Eric Crouch td reception is something I won't forget.

- Two words "Holy Buckeye"

I will say it interesting how most of these are in the late 90's and early 2000's. Maybe games seem to appear bigger than they are when you're younger(these games happened between 7th and 11th grade for me)

Bills 2nd half playoff win over the Oilers. Bills were down 35-7 at halftime.

He's a bit of trivia for you. In 1984 Maryland trailed Miami 31-0
at halftime and rallied to win 42-40.

The QB that led the rally for Maryland was Frank Reich. The same QB
that rallied the Bills to victory over the Oilers.

Not in any order.

1. The Minnesota win over New Orleans last year in the playoffs.
2. The Baltimore Colts beating the NY Giants in the 1958 NFL Championships.
3. The great comeback by the Buffalo Bills over the Houston Oilers.
4. The Iron Bowl where Auburn returned a missed FG for a touchdown.
5. Nebraska over Oklahoma in 1971.

1. OU vs Boise - statue of liberty play. Still my favorite game of all time.

2. Texas vs. USC 2005 national title game

3.Stanford vs. USC 2007 (especially because I thought that win might thrust Mich into the title game)

4. Auburn Vs. Alabama 2013: because how could this finish not be on anyone's list?

5. Wild Card: Penn State vs. USC 2017 Rose Bowl:

I just really enjoyed watching that game.

You have your years messed up with the USC/Stanford game in regards to Michigan. I can understand why you'd wanna block 2007 out of your memories though. I know I do for ND.

You're right. I'm thinking USC vs. UCLA 2006.
