I have a friend who loves soccer and hates hockey, finds it the most boring sport out there, I have never been able to figure that logic out. I can understand why a hockey fan may find soccer boring but hockey is essentially soccer on skates with more scoring opportunities and more physical play.

Well, I've lived in Georgia my entire life. I can't ice skate. I'm probably a bit bitter. I went to a couple Thrashers games, and it was awesome live. I was gonna make an honest attempt to get into hockey, learn the rules and follow the game, but then the Thrashers left town and I just said fuck it.

Well, I've lived in Georgia my entire life. I can't ice skate. I'm probably a bit bitter. I went to a couple Thrashers games, and it was awesome live. I was gonna make an honest attempt to get into hockey, learn the rules and follow the game, but then the Thrashers left town and I just said fuck it.

And the Thrashers outdrew the Hawks. If the Hawks left town, I would probably learn about via a SportsHoopla thread.

lol funny you mention that, I had a buddy from Alabama when I was in the Army, he became a diehard thrasher fan during their short time as a franchise, was so pissed when they folded up.

No we beat Michigan. I consider them a hockey school because they can't beat us in any other sport. Plus we don't have a hockey team or we would probably beat them in that too lol
