I was arguing with some Cowboy fans because they have seen the leaked info that the girl allegedly attempted to black mail Zeke. I told them we can't possibly have all the info. There was a pretty established and diverse group at the league office that evaluated his case for over a year. There's no way the NFL wants to take out a rising star on a high profile team for nearly 1/2 the season unless it felt backed into a corner to do so. There's no possible upside to doling out such a stiff penalty given the circumstances.

Zeke can try to take it to US courts, but they have 0 obligation to intervene. Players signed away those rights in the last CBA.

I have been making this very same argument over on the NFL forum and there some Cowboy fans in complete denial. They actually believe they (the fans themselves) have seen all the evidence and Zeke can sue the NFL and win.

I have seen those arguing that Zeke and the Cowboys can do something similar to Brady in taking it into the courts. However those circumsatances were different and the case was different. Bradys argument was Goodell should not have been arbitrator on his appeal and Zeke wont have that option as Goodell appointed an independent arbitrator.
