Exhibition game: Texas vs Texas A&M

An exhibition game took place in Houston at Rice University between the Longhorns and the Aggies to raise money for Texans in need after the destruction of Hurricane Harvey.

Anytime you get Aggies and Longhorns playing anything in Texas, it usually gets a bit chippy, and this 'exhibition game' did as well. In front of a crowd of about 2200 or so, was a good chance for both teams to get some game action.

Texas ended up winning, but it was a pretty hard-fought game. Players were given 7 fouls to foul out, and Texas ended up with 2 starters getting 5 fouls-a problem that plagued them in their 4 game jaunt in Australia this summer playing Aussie teams.

Aggies I believe are in the top 15 of KenPom rankings or so this year, so they may have a good team. Anyway, just kind of neat thing having an exhibition game before the season starts. Texas has some young talent, and now has some depth. Looking forward to this season!
