It is a 12 team 6 player keeper and roto league. I already have this lineup
C McCann
1b-Abreu
2b-Wong
3b-Machado
SS-Hardy
2b/SS Beckham
1b/3b Rendon
OF Choo, Taveras, Springer, Myers(on DL), Castellanos, Rajai
U-Odor(or Castellanos)
Also on DL-Votto

I mean it comes down to ever Bauer is just too valuable for Loney. Bottom line, with Cueto as my big ace, and relying on the inconsistency with Shields, Cole, Skaggs I need another big pitcher. I lost 6-8 last week, and if I had gotten the better ERA, WHIP I would have won 8-6. Also, I'm considering downgrading with Votto to someone like maybe Scherzer or Bumgarner so that I can get a closer in the deal.

And it wasnt a 12 team keeper I would have already let Burnett and Cingrani go, but they are too important and I have stashed Heaney.

Loney is garbage. I don't care how hot he is/can get, it will never be sustainable. He is not worth Bauer in a keeper league (are you keeping Bauer?), even if your not, you can sell him higher than that. Wainwright is an elite ace, but Stanton is an elite hitter, and is a decade younger than AW, so any "upgrades" for other players in this deal should lean your way, IMO.

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right. The word downgrading and Scherzer or Bumgarner doesn't fit well with me. As for consistency, James Shields is probably the most consistent starter in the majors. His clunkers are few and far between.

Well did you see what he just did tonight? I think I might want a different pitcher. Of course he gets the honor of allowing Kolten Wong to hit his first ML homer.

Yeah, but I can refer you to 50 quality starts over the last two years. The Jays got to him (they kill everyone), and he ran into a revamped Cardinals lineup.

that link isn't opening for me...

I would try and turn Loney into another pitcher if yo can...

and if Gregory Polanco is still available I would pick him up and drop Castellanos.

Polanco is definitely not available in this league. About the only big prospect left on FA is probably Buxton. He's probably not coming up at all this year or at least not until September.

Okay then... didn't realize this was a 5 OF league. I wouldn't even be thinking about moving Stanton. I know it's frustrating at times, but you have a very nice staff. Losing Stanton in a 5 OF league will cause damage. You can make up the pitcher starts.

... no aces, but you can try guys like Rubby DLR, deGromm, Odorizzi, Happ, Quintana, Morton... etc.

I would try using Votto and a Cingrani type to see what type of upgrade I could get at SP.

Well, I still think you can upgrade Castellanos. Maybe Crisp or James Jones for steals help? Or speculate on the possible best player out there, Corey Dickerson. If Cuddyer keeps playing 3rd while Arenado is out, that gives Dickerson RF vs RHP.

He's got a nice team. Giving him Bauer and Stanton for Wainwright seals his championship, barring injury. Unfortunately, I don't see a second arm to take back, all I see is three elites. He has no need for Votto, so I would either look elsewhere, or package Stanton and someone (Bauer if you can, Shields or Cueto if you must) for Wainwright and Sale or Darvish. I doubt he goes for it at first, but you have to bang it in his head that Stanton is usually the best player in any deal that involves him in keeper leagues.

I have Choo, Springer, Myers, and Taveras who I feel I can rely on. Davis is good when he plays and he gets steals. I recently had James Jones and dropped him. I don't care if I lose homeruns in this scenario. If I maintain hits, runs, doubles, batting average, outfield assists to go along with all seven or six of seven stats thats 10 stats a week barring injury and if injury were to happen or my team doesnt end up looking well after such deal then I could just deal the pitcher I got or Cueto.

So you're saying Stanton and Cueto for Wainwright and Sale?

well, mostly I'm saying Votto for someone... but if you're intent on trading Stanton, then yes, I wouldn't settle for just one pitcher and change... I'd want as much as possible... and I'll say again, the second player has to be an upgrade for you, no matter how equal Stanton/Wainwright may look.

I made the offer. But I could have just done it straight up recently because Cueto>Sale?
