MLB BBTN 500: Players No. 101-150 - ESPN

101-150

104 - Tim Lincecum
133 - Ryan Vogelsong

150 - Joe Nathan

I disagree with Timmeh being so highly rated. When you are the worst qualified starter for an entire season, statistically, resume-be-damned. I am OK with his inclusion on the list, but this high?

This means we have (should have) 5 in the top 100.

Romo
Bum
Cain
Posey
Panda

I am OK with that.

I don't think there is a list that I have ever agreed with.

Of course. That goes without saying.

Makes for interesting conversation, and education, as well.

MLB -- BBTN 500: Ranking the top 500 Major League Baseball players of 2013 (Nos. 51-100) - ESPN

51-100

51 - Madison Bumgarner
66 - Pablo Sandoval
90 - Sergio Romo

72 - Carlos Beltran

Cain and Posey in top 50. Again, I am OK with that.

I actually think Romo is rated a bit too high. The guy can hardly go 1 IP, and to me, that is a problem. I think he belongs more in the 120-ish area. But, MLB had him at #99, so maybe I am off on him...

Make that Top 25... possibly Top 10.

MLB -- BBTN 500: Ranking the top 500 Major League Baseball players of 2013 (Nos. 26-50) - ESPN

26-50

As Heath said, no Giants or former Giants.

In no particular order, some guys who are still out there...

Kemp
Trout
Strasburg
Verlander
Cabrera
Posey
Cain
Pujols
Votto
Hamilton
Kershaw
Price
Stanton
Hernandez

I think Posey has a CHANCE to break the top 10, but I am not sure I would be too upset if he does not make it. Top 10 is pretty elite...

Two guys in the top 25 is impressive, though.
