ESPN releases summer BPI

I've never really thought too highly of the BPI, in terms of predictive measures and most definitely resume, but I do find the information informative and certainly curious to look at it. They released their summer BPI and this is what the top 50 looks like.

Some that seem to high right off the bat:

Oklahoma(#8?), TCU(#9?), Texas Tech(#18?)
I think ND will be good, but not top 4 worthy.
Ohio State at 29th seems high too me, given the offseason.

Some that seem to low right off the bat:

USC at 43? I think they're for sure a top 10 team.
Michigan State at 17? I feel like if you switched them and ND that'd probably be about right.
I don't want to sound like a homer, but I think the Gophers are too low at #28.

We'll see where teams are in the next installment, but there are some definite interesting rankings.

Im not surprised at all. I figure the normal pathway for this team will be to be underrated at first and then if they play well then they are going to get overrated because of how star hype works.

I'm excited, though. Lots of Mizzou fans are looking forward to this basketball season

Yeah I'd imagine they'll make their way into the top 50 but no way they should be there now.

At least need to win a true road game first.

29th seems like pretty wishful thinking for us. I do feel a lot better about this season than I did a few months ago, still would be shocked to make the tourney though. (or be 29th at seasons end)

I hadn't even noticed that. But that is a joke. They'll be a top 25 team for sure next season, if not better.
