Yet many will claim that the majority of Caribbean baseball players aren't juicing. :L

Meanwhile, Josh Hamilton gets no discipline at all.

He is a feel good story and MLB needs some faces for the game. Even though he's posted crap numbers they still LOVE his story.

As he shouldn't. The Angels have no one but themselves to blame for signing him to that ridiculous contract. They knew his addiction & injury history & still paid him.

"I am frustrated that I can't pinpoint how the substance in question entered my body. I would never knowingly take anything illegal to enhance my performance. What I can guarantee is I never knowingly took anything illegal to enhance my performance."

Can't help but laugh. Does he even have the faintest clue what Stanozolol's legitimate uses are?

How do they explain an 80-day suspension when the rules say 50-days for the first offense and 100 days for the second???

That is interesting. Not sure why there are an additional 30 games.

Is Goodell running this league now?

Seemingly. I'm not an ARod fan by any stretch, but where did his one year suspension come from? Particularly with no failed test? I know they end-ran it by making it not a drug suspension per se, but the MLBPA got hornswaggled on that one.

And the Yankees were the BIG winners.

Very, very true. It does appear they are going to be on the hook for the rest of that contract

The Twins really should be able to void that contract. It's not like they can just get someone to replace him for half a season.

That's about as dumb as you can get. Stanozolol is easy to detect; it's what Ben Johnson was busted for 27 years ago. Anyone who tries to sneak stanozolol past a drug test deserves an extra 80 games for stupidity.

And his claim of not knowing how it got into his system was just cheeky. Stanozolol can be used for some blood disorders, but its mainly used for cutting cycles. If he had a blood disorder, he could have easily had a prescription and got a waiver from MLB, but he didn't do that. Just own up to your decision and move on.
