Really though, it's just another example of how Nebraska isn't what we the fans think it is...

It's not USC and never will be.

And we don't want to try and be like them either. In the long run it will ruin everything that is Nebraska Football.

Actually, we've been a joke ever since 1997. Even with Eric Crouch and all that noise. We weren't nearly as good as were given credit for.

Its a different more leveled playing field. Back in the day Nebraska had the best S&C in the land. That is why we won. Now look at Oregon and NW with the Nike and under armour alums those schools are able to do things we can't. The SCC is a toilet but they have success. Playing by the rules gets you no jet. Fans bitching about a 10-3 season and piss poor recruiting classes. We need to pay recruits
