As for me, Im hoping for Williams from Arizona... because we need a starting NT and I think the Shelton pick at 5 would be a mistake.

Our FA and draft is a classic manifestation of the proverbial horse-and-cart conundrum. In order to determine who we go after in FA, we need to know whether we can trade out of the fifth overall pick.

Whatever the case may be, we do know our needs: LG, RG, RT, FS, NT, and OLB, though our biggest need is RT. If we can get Orlando Franklin at RT, Mike Iupati at LG, and someone like Marcus Gilchrist at FS, that wouldn't break our cap. If we can trade out of the fifth pick for, say, Cleveland's two first rounders and maybe their second rounder, Landon Collins may be there at #12. If not, Beasley may be there or a DT like Malcom Brown. And then we can use our second rounder and/or another second rounder we get to select an OG.

I kind of agree with Shark. If we sign Williams then we can spend the pick on one of the pass rushing OLB and fill both needs. You won't be able to find a great edge rusher in FA without blowing up your cap, that's why I was on the "draft an edge rusher when you have the chance" train earlier and I'm back on it providing we can fill the NT position via FA.

DG fan all the pass rushing guys have huge questions that go with them. The safest guy is Fowler but he might be taken by JAX. So then you have Ray, Gregory, and Beasley. Beasley looks the safest but is he just a combine guy or a football player. Shelton is the safest pick for us in this draft. IF we did sign Williams, I would draft Waynes, b/c CB are hard to find in FA and the draft.

Latest rumor on Williams is that Denver is looking at him. He would probably take less money to play in Denver.

How is Beasley a combine guy his stock has risen because of game tape and combine numbers

The point is that he wasn't a top 10 pick before the combine now he is a top 10 pick. Looks like the Jags are going to take Fowler. So out of the three left I would want Beasley.
