EE and Venutra for 9th and 20th Round

I trade EE and Ventura For a 9th and 20th round draft pick (First 8 rounds are for keepers, so technically the 9th pick is a "1st")

Yeah that's what I am thinking, but in a way this is a first rounder since the first 8 are strickly for keepers and it goes right to 9th round anyway

Hence the offer for a 1st and a player who might have been in everyone's top 10 OF lists back in April.

Your call. I'm scared of Teheran ending up in Texas or Boston. I'm scared of Atlanta just being bad and him not getting wins/run support. I think if Conforto comes back up and hits like he can, this guy wouldn't be offering him up with a 1st to get a SP in the 20-40 range.

I don't know, but I usually send/receive the same amount of draft picks going each way when I make an offer. Just keeps the number of picks even. If that doesn't effect your league, and you don't want to give it up (it's a 15th rounder, what are you really giving up?), then counter with it taken out.

But, if you'd prefer Teheran, can't blame ya for that... I'll just disagree, but I do see that argument.

very true not giving up much with a 15th rounder, just don't like the idea of having to give up a pick as well. I mean I am NOT the one who made the initial offer so why should I have to give up more?

I am higher on Teheran than most, and lower on conforto than TKO is... But ultimately I agree that this is a close trade... Really sounds like preference... The trade might even help you in the future, without killing your current team... Teheran is very good, but the lack of wins does make him expendable... And this is a points league, so it is not like you can just punt a category if behind... you constantly need players to score points...

But before I advise, what is your pitcher points scale, do you reward for QS?? and how much is a win??

If they were both playing to their capabilities, you're probably lucky to make a deal like that with the picks reversed.

Still, with reality and not potential, it is what it is, so I can't blame anyone for not wanting Conforto.

I disagree, especially in this league... Remember that OFers have to play at their position... What this also means, is a player like Eaton is MUCH more valuable since he plays CF... But the corner outfield postions are loaded with players.. Probably just as much as fantasy startable pitchers... BUT here is the difference, you start only one LF, or RF, and start a bunch of SP...

so I don't know how valuable Conforto will be any time soon... Especially when he at this point is at best a platoon player since he can not hit lefties AT ALL!!!
