 So do the RAMS pull the trigger with the #22 pick and get Eddie Lacy?

If he didnt have durability issues, he is pretty much the ideal pick at that point.

Tuff to say here RAM, but I really wouldn't be surprised at all. Not many runningbacks in the draft this year so it could very easily happen.

Franklin, Ball, Bell, the puerto rican guy, Gilislee, the Notre Dame running backs, the Stanford running back, etc, etc

Lacy won't be picked at #22. However, if we trade back it could happen later in round one. My money is on Lacy for round 2.

I really like Lavon Bell, Sparty. 4.56 40 6'2 230 Sounds like SJAX to me. And in the 2nd round late? Some say he's the best RB in the draft.

Lacy was great, but look at his O-line!

Yea Sportsjunkie. I am not sold on Lacy in the first, if at all. Bell is a beast and would be a better pick for us especially with all of the needs we could accomplish in round one.

Retro - I'm not even sold Fisher is going to take an RB.

T. Ganaway, Pead, and Richardson all came out of the draft last year.

Fisher's got his 2 poor man's Chris Johnsons in Pead and Richardson. And he's got a Rammer in Ganaway. I don't know... If the RB they might want is not there, they may just keep what they have a go a different route.

Another note: I expect them to draft 2 WR's and pick up a Vet WR that gets released. I would have loved getting Arrleious Benn from Tampa - Philly gave up a 6th or 7th rounder for him. He's injury prone, but a beast in the open field.

We need CB's too and I expect 1 to be drafted (hopefully Terry Hawthorne - East STL boy in the 5th). But we can pluck some Cb's that get released too.

I like what he's doing. Getting younger and changing the attitude to more toughness.

The more I think about this, the more I like this guy and think we should not draft an RB in this draft! If anything, let's pick up an RB that's gets released as insurance.

Ganaway sat back and watched, most likely learned alot fro SJAX last year and Fisher. I think Fisher has these 3 sophomores working hard, getting better and they should be able to carry the load. If the Rams do draft an RB, so be it.

I agree Sportsjunkie. When we were still over at SeeBS, I mentioned that Ganaway is going to get alot of the workload this year because he was one of the first to resign his contract after the season. Fisher also stated he was teh main guy shortly thereafter. And Pead and Richardson will be doing what they did last year by spelling Ganaway.

Fisher intimated that he was going to use the three-headed monster approach with Ganaway carry the bulk of the load. You may be absolutely correct that we won't even bite on ANY RB this draft. If we don't, I won't be surprised as we need O-Lineman, D-backfield personnel, OLBs, and WRs. We could also use another run stuffer in the latter rounds because the DT we signed last year, Langford is not going to be around when his contract expires.

Hey check this link out.. T Ganaway and the Baylor Bears in the 2011 Alamo Bowl shootout. He was the star as RGIII sat back and watched! 5 TD's in the 2nd half and 200 yards rushing.

I remember seeing Ganaway in college and being fairly impressed (he got 186yds on 12 carries against Mizzou). He could certainly be a rotation back for us

Ganaway was all 1st team Big 12 in 2011. And he's rested ever since - hopefully taking notes on SJAX. Faulk passed the torch to SJAX. SJAX you know showed all 3 of these SOPHOMORES something. BTW - Ganaway works at Jimmy Johns some in the offseason. Don't know if it's because he's hungry or his work ethic?

We have 3 young RB's. I think they bring in an 25-28 year old RB with experience after camp. Doesn't make sense to bring in another RB, unless they love someone.

Fisher like's top notch backs... think Eddie George and Chris Johnson (Fisher drafted Johnson).

If not a RB at 22, how about a Guard or another pick to put some force for that offensive line?
