Game Thread: Eastern Conference Finals: Miami Heat VS Indiana Pacers

No offense to Indiana, But did Miami beat a single good team in their entire run to the Finals?


The Pacers would have likely lost in the first round of the West....... teams like NJ and Charlotte would have been fighting with Utah and Sacramento for scraps


MIAMI is a great team. They are championship worthy.
It is not MIAMI's fault that their opponents suck. They can only play their schedule.


But, this might be the lamest bunch of tomato can opponents ever for a run.
OKC/SA will be the first team they face that is even remotely good.

It sort of reminds me of the 1980s Lakers.


They were great teams, but all the power teams were in the East.


Under no way, does it devalue the amazing greatness of Miami.....


Miami is an awesome team.

But I think if Miami plays in the West they could still run it, not easily. They play to the level of the competition and changing their pace of play. We will see how it goes in the Finals, especially not having homecourt

I agree about SAS but disagree about OKC. I think it is a 6 game series with OKC due to the change of format

It depends on how you lose. And how the series went.


25 years from now, the guys from SA and MIAMI will be interviewed about the 2013 series.
It will be constantly looked upon as one of those greatest series in history.
Even the Spurs will eventually be extremely proud of their 2013 Western Conference Rings.


You see oldtimers who lost from special moments...actually embrace it and enjoy it.


But, if you are like the 2008 Magic or 2003 Nets. It is a forgettable footnote.
