Fly, Eagles Fly
Five years, $40 million, after several other players including Lane Johnson restructured contracts to reduce the cap burden.
This means the Eagles will only lose one starter from last season's SB team--Torrey Smith, who was traded, and was arguably the weakest starter anyway. Everyone else is under contract now.
They are losing several role players on offense including Brent Celek and Trey Burton, and on defense including Beau Allen. But they added some aging vets in Haloti Ngata and Michael Bennett to what was already a deep D line, and generally kept the entire nucleus intact.
Repeat?
