The Eagles have allowed 4 QBs to pass for over 80% of their passes as they lay back and play soft shell coverage for entire games, despite having mediocre DBs and well below average LBs. They let Derek Carr complete 91% of his passes yesterday.

My condolences for your pain but this Eagles defense could be just what the Dr ordered to get off the schnide. I recall week 1 when your boys just ran out of time but San Frans defense was playing soft with shitty DBs and the Lions took it to them. A whole game of that D and the Lions can score a bunch.

It's like watching a team play prevent defense for an entire game. Absolutely wild. Not surprising that attack minded players like Fletcher Cox are starting to lose their shit. We are a long ways from the heyday of Buddy Ryan and Jim Johnson blitzing every down now. Those defenses gave up big plays but they also created them. This defense is like a sad,slow death by 1,000 cuts every Sunday.

I agree...horrid...it seems that they just can't keep up with the rules changes that favor the O, so I guess the league is getting what they want, more scoring. Hell, until Sunday the Packers had given up a TD in every opponents possession inside the 20...and if it wasn't for a shitty rule, that probably would've continued.

well I was gonna root for detroit, but now I have to root for the eagles.
I dont want to see any coaching changes for the Eagles. I think they are just starting to gel for the rest of the NFC East. Dont screw up a good thing for us!
