Giants got spanked at home by Detroit last night ... so they will be more motivated going into this week's battle against the Birds. I think this will be the game we establish LeGarrette Blount going; the team as a whole recognizes that we can't continue to put it all on Carson Wentz' shoulders. The Giants are going to pin their ears back to go after Wentz this week and we need to counter that with the run. I would also like to see more of Mack Hollins in those 50/50 jump ball situations as opposed to Torrey Smith. Smith does have great speed, but he has never been a 50/50 guy like an Alshon Jeffery. Give me your thoughts on this one heading in ...

Agree on Blount. I would like to see a 2 TE formation, and hopefully, the coaches (Stoutland) need to light a fire under the OL's butts! On D - get Barnett in there, and bench Curry. Flowers cannot block Barnett, who I think could get a handful of sacks on Eli. I'll save my prediction for later, but we could blow out the midgets.

We need to trade for a RB in addition to sorting out the OL personnel. There are several options. Jeremy Hill, Charcandrick West?

We need to get a RB that fits what Doug needs out of a RB schematically. I think a guy like Gio Bernard fits really well for what we do on Offense. Mixon is a really good receiving Back who can slide right in and fill that role which would be left open should they trade Bernard.

Trade, or give Clement a chance to run the ball about ten times to see what he can do. Who knows - he could turn out to be the best we have.

I think we could get him for a 4th next year (we have 3 of them, or 2 + a 3rd), and a possible 2nd or 3rd in 2019, depending upon him making the pro bowl,or some other kind of incentive. He still has a lot of tread on those tires, plus he's a favorite of Lurie, and is our all time rushing leader.

Why are the Eagles always one need position away from becoming a dominant team? During the Reid years, they did not like to pay for LB's or WR's. If we would have kept Trott, Joe Juravicious would not still be running, and if we would have paid TO, we may have one if not more SB's. Now we are seeing RB become a problem. I still believe this organization is more about the Benjamins.

This system needs a RB who runs good sweeps, won't get killed in pass protection and can catch well out of the backfield. Instead we have a pounder like Blount and ended up with another pounder like Clement. We drafted a guy whom we "thought" fit what they were looking for in Pumphrey, but he ended up being a dud. That's why we are in the position where we have to ride Dirt-Old Sproles. Smallwood can run a little, but pass blocking from what I hear is horrible.

Yeah, Smallwood is not an NFL RB. We need to patch things up as best we can, and get the stud next year.

Unfortunately now Corey Graham is also hurt and we are running out of safeties capable of playing in this game. He is questionable with a hamstring injury.

No draft picks for runner with thin tread. Doesnt make sense.
