Blount can't be happy.

Whoa, really think so? Wasn't this week his best week? I guess he is their best trade asset and I agree Ajayi is a better version of Blount.
Slightly better.

This move doesn't make a ton of sense to me.

Only a fourth round pick though.

What's Ryan Matthews up to?

Ajayi has been a disappointment this year after having a solid 2016 season.
Valid point but I think it is a good move for them. They have a shot of going to a SB and having some depth at RB is always a good thing. Besides, the change of scenery may serve Ajayi well.

Why would they? He used to play for them.

Not sure how good McCoy still is; BTW, the McCoy trade was a Chip Kelly move, to 'improve' culture, and part of his quest to prove that scheme trumps all, including TOP and lack of talented skill position players on offense.

Not sure whether the Bills would have let him go, for one, and to what they demanded. The Eagles were severely limited in the picks they could offer.

What's Ryan Matthews up to?

Career over due to neck injury (IIRC fused disks in his spine). Basically playing football for him has become Russian roulette. He was lucky he survived that injury at all and without serious after effects like paralysis. That was pretty much clear in December when the injury was discovered. Romour has it that it took a long while before he and the Eagles came to an agreement about a severance package because of it.

Why is that?

For one Carson Wentz has never even sniffed a playoff game and HFA or not it would be like Dallas last season. Anyways, you have to go to Seattle week 13, where that could be for the top seed, very similar to when the saints went there in 2013 that same week. That not only sealed the top seed for Seattle, it knocked the saints out of a division title. That probably won't happen to Philly but they have no shot at Seattle in January furthermore.

As of now I see the NFC like this
1.Seattle
2.Philadelphia
3.Carolina
4.Green Bay
5.Minnesota
6.Los Angeles
