You don't live in this state and not understand the significance of ZZ Top in the scheme of things. Only band I've seen in the double digits. And a classmate who lived in the same neighborhood as Dusty said he was just one of the nicest people he's ever known.

Ran across an article that said he was forced to pull out of a concert in Lenox, IL due to an injury five days before he passed away. Glad I saw them live back in the day, been a ZZ Top fan for decades.

Yeah...I heard that too. Bummer.

I go to see them back in the 70's, 80's & 90's.
They always put on an amazing solid show.....never disappointed.
The quintessential power trio that lasted far beyond even they thought they would.

They certainly did put on a good show and produced a lot of sound for a three piece band
