Iron Duke
With the commitment of four-star defensive back Dylan Singleton last night, Duke's 2016 recruiting class sits in uncharted territory at #20 nationally and third in the ACC. Singleton, rated as the #28 cornerback in the country and #1 in the state of Georgia, is the third-highest rated member of the unit behind Scott Bracey (#132 overall) and Mark Birmingham (#272).
While there are still six months until signing day, the strength of Duke's haul so far can be seen in the composite points below:
Points | Year
------------------
191.81 | 2016
175.85 | 2015
166.42 | 2014
147.18 | 2013
163.59 | 2012
149.43 | 2011
A composite score of 191.81 would have put Duke at #39 in the country in the 2015 class, but they're not done just yet. If the Duke staff can add a few more of their top targets (like four-star DE Prince Sammons and three-star OL Parker Braun for instance), they'd be looking at a composite score of over 200.
