From the sounds of it, it's been a "me" issue that's been going on for a while, and he never fixed the issue as coach asked him to repeatedly.

AI was Big East Defensive POY both years he was at Georgetown. So that eliminated Duke from his final choices.

Not really. Andre Dawkins was diagnosed with depression following his sister's car accident and death on her way to his game. He sat out a year. But he wasn't dismissed.
