No I agree, you guys have Mariota coming back, he's starting Miles yr 1, there wont be a power move next season, but I do believe the Dawgs go in to Eugene next season and its a lot closer score then past....

what? Oregon never offered Petey. Washington did.

Don't think for a minute that if Helfrich doesn't work out that Oregon would offer PEtey and he would come to Eugene in a heart beat. maybe Ducks look at this as a chance to see what Petey can do on a weekly basis in the PAC and see if he is suited for BCS conferences.

Peterson has proved nothing yet, never played a decent schedule and never recruited with the big boys. Getting 3 star kids that cant get into a regular university and coaching them up to play one or two big games a year is a lot different than PAC life.

face it you overpaid for a name. in 4-5 years, you will be looking for another overpaid coach.

Its still a rivalry for the fans, but not in reality. We have bitch slapped the poor dawgs for a decade, and there is no hope in sight. Starting over with a new (overpaid) coach will only make things worse.

Again? If this hasn't been a rivalry the past 10 years because Oregon is all of the sudden relevant and UW has been down, what was it before that? 10 straight wins can even get you close to making the overall record respectable...
