It definitely did … That’s why you should take the points ! Huskies offense didn’t play great in the second half, but got it done when it counted !

I'm a firm believer of 'take your points'. I've never really liked when teams are in FG range and the game is EARLY and they go for it. If you get it, the other team is like, "Well okay, we can STILL force a FG or turnover, OR make it up later." If you turn it over you shift momentum BIG time and take points off the board. Always hated it... even when it works out for the team I'm rooting for. I'm like, "Well... okay I guess."

UW and Oregon have a HUGE rivalry. Given both their rankings, it's understandable. This is basically a bowl game for em'. Basically those two schools are all the PNW fights for.

Going for it in a reasonable distance is fine, if there is plenty of game left.
You know even if you miss, you can bottle them up for a conservative 3 and out, then you get the ball right back in great field position.
It is not the worst thing momentum-wise.

But, a distance of 4 yards...and the half ends??
That is just arrogant recklessness that hurts the team. It is a huge momentum blow.

Week in week out games don't mean as much as college.

Yes, they mean a lot in the NFL, but a single loss like today by Oregon can take away any chance of winning it all. NFL teams have lost 7 games before and still won a Super Bowl.

Sorry, but week in and week out games simply mean more at the college level.

I'm just saying that there are a lot of doormats and tier 2s in college. If you're a power then yeah its the best
