Drop Hamilton for Trumbo?

I know they are not much different but Hamilton is not healthy and Trumbo can fill in at more positions. Hamilton is on my bench and just use him when I need to fill a position. So tell me, does this seem like a good idea going into the playoffs?

Trumbo hasn't hit well for the past month, but he's hit better than hamilton (slightly). While neither one of their batting averages jump out and say grab me, Trumbo has put up better numbers everywhere else. I'm assuming this is a 10 team league if Trumbo is a f/a, and if that's the case then feel free to drop Hamilton, his only value right now is his name.

I'm assuming you're in the playoffs...
Best suggestion (and I wish I could do while on the road for you) is check their upcoming schedules/ ballparks/ opposing pitchers. Like Rev said, neither are great options on the surface, but depending on the upcoming matchups, one might be a better gamble.
At this time of year, devil is in the details, with little margin for error usually

At least tell me somebody just dropped him and he didn't clear waivers yet, because in a 14 team league I can't see Trumbo not being on somebodies team.

I stick with what I said, swap hamilton for Trumbo. The one thing not brought up is the injury that alwasy comes up near the end of the season for hamilton. Wait for it............it's coming.

Granted hamilton is fully capable of having one of those weeks where he could win your game on his own, but just like Adam Dunn the crap you have to endure to get to that week is unbearable at times.

Be that as it may, Trumbo has 30 HRs and 87 RBI on the year, compared to 19 and 62 for Joshie.

Like I said, right now it's a crapshoot - but i'll take my chances with Trumbo.

This has to be a recent drop. I can't see him just sitting on the wire in a 12 team, much less 14.
