Miami Dolphins looking to trade into the top ten to draft WR Kevin White. They have been looking at Welker, Crabtree, Jennings, and others in recent days. They prefer the size of White over Cooper to pair with the shorter Kenny Stills and Jarvis Landry.

This has become a recent trend by teams in the past couple of drafts to trade up high in round one to draft wide receivers (Rams - Tavon Austin, Bills - Sammy Wadkins).

The only way any team would be certain to get in position to get White would be to trade with Jacksonville to get ahead of Oakland.

Basically the rumors are saying:

1. Winston
2. Mariota
3. Fowler (he thinks he is a lock to go there but no comment from the Jags)
4. White

So I'm not seeing Miami wanting to move up that far if only because the Tavon Austin trade and the Sammy Watkins trades werent worth it.

5. Beasley/Gregory
6. Best non-interior defensive lineman. So Beasley/Gregory/Cooper/Scherff/Peat
7. As far as Leonard Williams could possibly drop (and Walterfootball has rumored him to drop)

And the rumor that is hopefully a smokescreen: "There's "buzz" about Brandon Scherff and Andrus Peat going Nos. 8 and 9 to the Falcons and Giants, respectively. - Jason La Canfora "

8. Scherff
9. Peat

So the Rams could be looking at taking the #3 OL or #4 OL at 10 or either the #2 or #3 WR. I think this goes back to my original worry with the Rams draft is that everyone will be looking at offense.

So the Rams are probably looking at either Amari Cooper or L'ael Collins falling to 10

Clayton - How do you feel about the CB Waynes from Michigan State at #10?

Peat seems to be all over the place. I believe Kiper has him going 29th. I would be completly shocked if Cooper falls to us.

I was eating at pappadeaux a few weeks ago in North Dallas and Crabtree was right next to me with a baby and his a nice looking younger girl. I didn't even know it was him until he left and the waiter told us. I think he is from Dallas so I doubt they are looking at him.

I'd take a look at Crabby for the right price.

I wouldn't be confident in him being significantly better than what the Rams already have. I also feel like judging CBs by their 40 times is an outdated way of looking at things. The 3 best CBs in the league are physical as is the best secondary in the league. I'm also leery of how Michigan St CBs translate into the NFL.

I don't see Jacksonville taking Fowler over Williams if available, but both should be gone before the Rams pick regardless. Even if NO OL go in the top 9, I still think the correct move is to trade down (unless Cooper or White is available).

As far as Waynes goes, I prefer Peters personally. I like his physicality over Waynes' speed.

Now THAT is some serious crack smoking. Taking an elite WR at #10 makes sense. Taking just another WR at #10 is stupidity.

Yeah I think he's going to be good but this Screams Brian Quick pick all over again. Snead out smarting himself maybe.

The word must be out that the Rams are seeking an elite wide receiver in the first round judging by Peter King's and Mel Kiper's latest mock drafts.

The Justin Blackmon, Josh Gordon, and Darrick Rodgers' scenarios must be keeping the pundits from mocking DGB to us. Apparently, he is destined for round two.

With the way things are shaking out, it wouldn't surprise me if Cooper or Gregory are available when we pick at #10. I would hope Fisher and Co. would pick Cooper if that was the scenario. There's still a lot of chatter about the Rams taking a pass rusher if they can't trade back or if they feel it's a value pick.

Gregory is the best pass rusher in the draft imo but would be much better on a 3-4 defense. I cant see anywhere he could play on our D. He's to small for DE 235 pounds. I would rather have Dupree who could take over for C. Long eventually. And yes they better pick Cooper but I'll be surprised if he gets past 5.

I doubt the Rams are even thinking about replacing Long at this point. They have to be thinking offense with Foles coming in.

Fisher not thinking D line with the first pick? :D Probably not but long will be 31 I think next year and he's making more than JJ Watt. It would make a ton of cap room.
