Did you fork out the money to see this yet?
Thumbs up or Thumbs down?

Saw it and thought it was pretty darn good, total football geeks would understand it ...

I want to see it, but I doubt I will until it reaches pay per view at least. I mean my wife and kids won't want to see it and probably wouldn't enjoy it if I dragged them to it so I'll wait most likely.

I will eventually watch it online. I don't see myself forking out the money to see it in theaters.

Costner is terrible unless it's a western with a stellar cast surrounding him.

Cardboard.

Reitman hasn't made a decent film in a couple of decades, either.

I'll pass.

They were also two of the greatest sports movies...

I agree with that, but Costner had very little to do with it.

Spectacular casts and idiot-proof scripts, even for a dolt like Costner.

You are the definition of a tool. Costner is the only reason any of those three baseball movies made a dime.

Not going.

Even from the previews, it looks loaded with the same flogging the dead horse Hollywood cliches they lazily spew out in most sports movies they make.

Pass.

Guy on the radio was trashing the movie for horrible logic fails. Like the owner flying from New York to Cleveland after the very first pick of the draft is made and arriving back at Brown HQ in Ohio and the first round is just reaching pick #6.

In other words, he left NFL HQ, drove to the airport, boarded the plane, flew from New York to Cleveland and then drove to Browns HQ.....

in less than an hour.

Flight time on commercial plane is about exactly 1 hour. On a private jet just jumping from hanger to hanger - its not that far outta reach. Not completely realistic, agreed, but we're likley only talking about minutes here.

It would take a hour just to get from manhattan to Newark, JFK, or La Gard. And that would be with zero traffic. Unless his private jet was catapulted to takeoff from the top of a NYC skyscraper and had warp drive, no fucking way in hell he gets to Cleveland and he's strolling into the Browns war room in an hour.

For me, Costner had one of the best performances in recent memory in Hatfields & McCoys.

That said this movie looks like a train wreck.

Out of "logic fails" he picks this one? I figured it would have been three #1 for this years number #1 in the movie, but then again the Redskins would pull the trigger on that deal

He talked about that too but I didn't want to give away the spoiler.
