I really like Mike Wallace here - AP draws the defense in - Wallace spreads them out vertically.

Mingo you liar

I had a long day - hung around the puter for 30 minutes waiting for Nutty - then thought George would text me if Eaglenut made his pick, but he apparently thought it was too late to text me. Not being able to check the system through Tapatalk - is something I'm going to have to get used to - somehow.

I might have preferred pairing Abdullah/Gurley with a more conservative RB (e.g., Morris), but the way things fell, that really wasn't an option.

Yeah, picking towards the end of the 1st round in a 16 team league forces you to start picking the top tier WR's because at that point, you can't afford to reach for the 2nd, 3rd tier RB's... It's unfortunate that this year, WR's are so deep, while RB's are not...

And it is unfortunate on top of that - that WR's have two bad fantasy attributes - Just by game plan - your WR guy could be game planned out of targets and used as a decoy - the other bad point is the current game - Dbacks target WRs to hit them when they are vulnerable -and therefore - partially due to their size - and partially due to their attention to the ball - they get notoriously injured and can't play - therefore they lack reliability for fantasy owners.

For me it's a toss up between Peterson and Bell. With Bell's suspension and a tougher schedule vs teams with good run D, I'd lean Peterson.

I'd go Eddie Lacy... Solid receiver and he's going to get his carries in a high octane offense... Total of 1600 yards on offense, which included a slow start at the beginning of the season the first 4 games... He averaged over 100 yards a game and had 13 TD's the last 12 games of the season... Peterson is a solid pick but a risky pick as the #1 overall imo...

I think it also depends on if you get a 1 PPR

De Angelo Williams may have been a reach but I don't know if he would've made it back to me 24 picks later... I can at least get 3 solid games out of him knowing he'll be the starter while I figure out my RBBC approach... :L

I went TE first because all five teams between my odd-even picks had a QB and not a TE...

That Bridgewater pick had me a little worried though.

Just a heads up Le'Veons suspension was reduced to 2 games

Speaking of TEs, they seem grossly undervalued in this league.

It was meant to. You have to take certain fantasy risks - or your not going to win. I'm betting the Vikes - have an offensive line - a fresh AP - an up and coming QB - and a guy in Wallace who needs redemption very badly. if the defense goes 8 in the box to stop AP - Bridgewater will find Wallace often and speeding down the field alone.

i went for my 2nd QB early - rather than take a lower tier TE or WR.

Rivers by the way - was an awesome pick - and he will easily score more fantasy points than Bridgewater with these rules.
