Doug Gottlieb says Alford to IU is a "done deal"

Take this with a grain of salt but today on the DP Show, Gottlieb said he was told that the Alford to IU coaching move was a "done deal".

I've said this before, I don't believe that IU is a better job, right now than UCLA. Just my opinion but we'll see if it's true in a few days I guess.

The lure of home is big. IU isn't a better job but it's a good job and Alford is a selfish, conceited asshat who probably wouldn't be able to turn down the chance to go home and be treated like a God ( you know, since he already thinks he is one )

I think that's a good hire. You could tell Archie wasn't going to stay at Dayton long. Someone was going to make an offer he couldn't refuse.
