Baseball sucks again in Queens. Just cannot seem to beat any Central teams this year. 3-17 against St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and Chicago, with the 3 victories coming against the Cards. A couple of those were extra innings, too, IIRC.

The Yanks managed to pull ever-so-slightly ahead of the BJ's but I think we all see the writing on the wall for Cashman and Gerardi: Golf reservations for early November.

Los Padres didn't not un-non-win again.

Boston is so horrible they can't even sweep Seattle, who is horrible.

Francis's Royales continue to pull away from the rest of the AL Central and are about to put it on Cruise Control.

Washington is turning into a shit-show.

The Giants...nice uniforms.

I agree! The Giants look pretty friggin' snazzy! In addition to Brycie-poo swinging away at air, I also got a laugh at Werth's ABs. He's always a bastard to get out and it was nice to see him be unproductive.

I was a believer in the Mets for a little bit

Now its pretty apparent they are a product of a division that should be shipped off to Africa, never to be seen again

0-13 against the Cubs and Pirates

Lucky for them, those aren't teams they would see in the postseason.........

Oh Wait

Oh Wait

They won't see all of them.

Bucs and Cubs are going to be Wildcardthing 1 and Wildcardthing 2, so one of them will eliminate the other, with the winner facing St. Louis.

As Division winners, the Mets would face the Dodgers and at this moment in time, they would host based on some cock-a-mamie thing that I don't know about but baseball smartie-pants types do.

But we're getting WAY ahead of ourselves here. Washington could get their shite together any minute now.

Cards went 2 straight series winning 2 out 3. I think we still have 6 games against the Pirates, 3 against the Cubs....and I think 6? against the Giants. Those seem like the big games. By default, the Cubs can gain some more ground because the Cards and Pirates play each other 6 times and they'll average .500 but the Pirates have been hot for awhile so...eh..

Lots of pitching in the NL. Its going to be like 2 years ago with everyone hitting .180 in the playoffs

Yep... 3 this week and 3 more to close out the month. Then we start our battle with LA. Should be some good ball to close out the season.

Washington has 12, most at home, vs the Dreds of the league (if I don't included Washington)

So we will see

But my Mets hate aside, I think they win that division, they should get fat on the other teams in the league, and I think they will be a nightmare matchup come October, as long as Noah doesn't wear down.....Think they need to go 3 deep in that rotation

I hate you for making me say it

Yep. Whichever team can put together 3 or 4 games worth of bloop hits and infield singles will move on.

The Pirates gonna get AJ Burnett back by the playoffs?
