I hate the Clippers and I hate the owner of the Clippers, but Vinny Del ***** is the best coach that the team has ever had and the proof is in them making it to the playoffs for back to back for the last two years. Some one will have to refresh my memory if they did it three years ago, but I don't think they did. That was not a small task. The fact that the Clippers did not get past the first round was not because of coaching but because Griffin has no post game, Lamar Odom has no spine and Billups is a spotty shooter on offense.

Now they are blowing up the team by blowing up the coach. In case Sterling is too stupid to realize it, there is a strong reason why the Lakers hasn't already fired D'antoni and hired some one who knows what they are doing

Why do people think that just because a team has a good record, that the coach is doing a good job?

Look at the Clippers' roster. They have the best PG, an up and coming PF and the deepest roster in the league. Failing to get out of the first round is unacceptable for a team with this much talent.

For the record, Del ***** is not even in the conversation of best Clippers coaches under any criteria.

Former Clipper coaches include: Larry Brown, Jack Ramsey and Bill Fitch. Ramsey and Brown are in the Hall of Fame.

Point of the story is this: It don't matter how terrible a coach you think you have. Unless you can get someone who is better, then replacing him will only make you worse.

The Clippers had Larry Brown for a season and a half and made the playoffs both those years. So, no, Del ***** is not the best coach they have ever had.

They also had Jack Ramsay and Bill Fitch as coaches. Just because they have better talent now doesn't mean the coaching is good.

They have some good coaches available. They will find someone better. I would even take a chance at Brian Shaw and the Warriors also have a pretty good assistant who probably will get a job
