I'm going to do 10 as my picks will start to just copy others picks after that. Picking the Top 10 itself was actually pretty tough. The good teams mostly lost a ton, and ones right below that were pretty mediocre.

1) Duke - Agreed they should be #1. Returning experience from a Top 25 team and freshmen studs and really they underperformed last year. Don't know if they'll have enough minutes to go around, but that won't matter until March.

2) UNC - I think UNC is getting slightly slighted. Paige and Johnson are gone and were better than Arcidiacono and Ochefu, but UNC was a better team than Villanova. Villanova just happened to be red hot.

3) Kansas - The backcourt should be the best in the country. Ellis and Selden are replaceable.

4) Oregon - I thought the Pac-12 as a whole was slightly overrated last year, but Oregon looked good in the tourney and they are super young. If Pritchard can start as a freshman, it's on.

5) UK - Put them slightly lower because, it's typical UK, could win it all or could miss the tourney.

6) Michigan State - Because they're Sparty and someone has to win the Big 10?

7) Villanova - Losing Arch and Ocefu are huge. Bigger than people think, and we really don't have an offensive inside presence with Spellman out. The Big East is a smaller conference though, and the early non-conference is a joke. Should be able to stay around the Top 10 most of the year.

8) UCLA - I know they sucked last year, but I have a feeling UCLA is going to be really good. This is probably too high, but meh.

9) Wisconsin - Sweet 16 team that returns everybody.

10) Whomever the 2nd best team in the Big 12 is that will get RPI points for being 2nd place in the Big 12. Texas maybe? West Virginia? Iowa State?

Just missed...

Xavier - Frontcourt is decimated. Replacements are unproven.

UVA - I think Brogdon graduating is the end of an era and they'll actually take a step back.

I honestly haven't kept up with recruiting outside of the PAC so I'll either have to do my research or watch a few games first.

Here are my thoughts on a few PAC teams to watch out for:

Oregon has a combination of experience, good (but not great) talent and great coaching. They are definitely top 10, possibly top 5.

Arizona is probably more talented than Oregon but they are very young and inexperienced. I'd have them in the top 15.

Cal has pretty good talent, borderline top 25.

Washington has the talent to be top 25 but Romar is a joke.

UCLA could be very good but I understand the hesitation to rank them any higher than 20.

Great Dayne

I was right even if you believe I was wrong

Please tell me you just forgot to put Wisconsin on the list or you were high when you created the list.
