I believe each team, on average, gets around 30 starts out of their 6,7,8,9,etc guys each year. (Is forced to get...)I'll consider Greene our #4 withPelfry #5. Will Farmer, or Norris shine as one of those 6+ guys? We'd better hope so. But I'm not planning on it.

Depth, quality and durability of our starting pitching is definitely high on my list of concerns. Has been all offseason tbh.

This is true. I think the 2013 or 2014 Tigers (can't remember which season) were unusual in that they only used six starting pitchers all year. That is very rare.

This is true. I think the 2013 or 2014 Tigers (can't remember which season) were unusual in that they only used six starting pitchers all year. That is very rare.

my guess would be 2013. 2014 sanchez was hurt and i am pretty sure that was the first time we saw farmer and kyle ryan.

I know you didn't ask me, but it would seem a Kyle Lohse signing would just be a stopgap thing, a la Randy Wolf last year. Lohse was godawful the past two seasons.
