I feel like the Heat roster is deeper. Maybe it is because I'm a Heat fan but I look at our roster and see 5 players I really like. I also there are more players on Miami who can get the job done on both ends of the court.

Yeah but those salaries are killing them right now. The Heat need another max to put next to Whiteside...

I agree. Not saying they're ready to compete for titles or anything. Right now our ceiling is probably 2nd round at best. IMO the Pistons ceiling is 1st round. I don't think the Pistons are a playoffs team this year

I'd take Dragic over Jackson, but without those two on the court, I think the Heat's PER is better.

Tyler Johnson could improve alot, but if the Heat could get anything out of James Johnson, and that fucking Kelly Olynyk contract would be a win... I hated that Olynyk signing.

Tyler Johnson could improve alot, but if the Heat could get anything out of James Johnson, and that fucking Kelly Olynyk contract would be a win... I hated that Olynyk signing.

I liked the signing but wish we could have offered less money. Would have been much happier with 4/40. James Johnson was amazing last year. I'll take another year of that. As for Tyler, just like Whiteside he got better every year with the team. Hopefully that trend continues

Well difference between those 2 (if I remember correctly) is that Johnson was looked at as the better offensive player. Winslow was expected to struggle on offense for a bit to say the least. I would say Johnson is more of a disappointment because I'm guessing Detroit expected more out of him on offense than Miami expected from Winslow through 2 years

Yeah I've seen their progress too, but when waiters is starting , and Johnson is not... Hmmmm...

I'm interesting to see what Spo does at 4 this year. Johnson & Johnson was a great 1-2 punch for us off the bench last year. I'm wondering if he keeps that going and start Olynk at PF or if he throws JJ in the lineup.

Waiters was very good for Miami last year and our best perimeter defender. Miami 31-10 2nd half record likely is 33-8 or 34-9 if Waiters doesn't miss the last few weeks of the year.
