Ok, late 80's all the way into early 2000's. Some would call a borderline hall of famer. Great nickname. Had good seasons in both the US and Canada. good power hitter with a good OBP as well. The weird thing is there is another guy who had a very similar career and would fit all of the clues above. But I'm looking for the guy who was born in the US.

As in walking to class- Larry Walker?

nope. This guy played on the Rays and Blue Jays but never went against the Phils in the World Series. He did however have one playoff series against the Phils where he went 10-27 with a 1.214 OPS.

Altogether he played on 6 teams

I spent my whole fucking Econ class trying to figure this one out and I still have no idea. I thought maybe Greg Vaughn but he never played for the Blue Jays I don't think. Shit- is it the Crime Dog?

Yes, Fred "Crime Dog" McGriff! The other guy who was very similar is Andres Galarraga, who played for the Expos and Braves and Rockies.

Question about the 1950's Yankee utility player---when he retired did he work as a coach, manager or announcer?

Damn, I may never get it. He retired way before me and most other people on here were even born. I was hoping I could come up with a name that I knew as a coach or something. I think my next guess was going to be Billy Martin but I wasn't sure if he was good enough to be an all star 5 times
