How has it improved this year?

Tannehill is healthy again

Burks, konk and Philips are year 2 guys

They got a stud tackle in the draft

I would be surprised if they’re not improved by a fair amount

I'm not sure Tannehill has a very long leash.

How do you figure Zeke has the better career? More team wins? Less ypc, 1 less TD, more fumbles, almost even games played (and that's with Henry being started slow early on). Unless you're focusing on receiving I guess?

ill admit, i purposely took those 2 players because they were so close... and because they played during the same period....

I will also admit, that it is easy to believe that going forward Henry will not just be better, but it will likely not be close...

But if both careers ended right now... it would be super close... Henry is the better rusher, Zeke the better receiver...

But with the receiving, Henry has only one more TD...

But Zeke has over 1K more total yards

so yes... if i had to say one has the better career as of today it would be Zeke... but we all know where both are right now.... Zeke is trying to find a team, and is best going to be in a platoon... Henry will be one of the highest volume backs...

My point overall, is if one is a HOFer as of today, then so would the other... but nobody is saying that about Zeke...

which tells me that the Henry love is hyped up based on recency bias... not actual stats or facts...

Henry still needs to produce to become a HOFer

If the titans wanted to start over they easily could’ve this year

They intentionally chose to ride this out

For better or worse

You're wrong. Do you really need me to post the stats again?
Hopkins was

10th in yards per game last year with dog shit throwing to him.
More yards per game than Travis Kelce.

4th in receptions per game
More than everyone besides Kupp, Jefferson and Chase.

@shopson67 while looking for this post I saw how stupid you are on this topic. You couldn't get your facts right last time. My mistake responding to you. I should have remembered.

Tenn seems bizarrely happy to win the division at 9-8 and let tanny go have the two young guys compete for the job next year

All under Kingsbury's air-raid offense. Do you expect that kind of action with Tannehill with the Titans? This is the team that underused AJ Brown after all. Third fewest passing attempts in the NFL last year, behind only Atlanta and the Bears. They also had the 3rd fewest WR targets by percentage (4th fewest outright).

I think the Jags are the definite favorite to win the AFC South - the Titans QB situation sucks, Tannehill is washed up and I don’t think Willis or Levis are capable of leading them to wins this year. Adding in Hopkins helps but their receiving unit is still pretty thin and weak, they will have to rely heavily on Henry once again. The Jags pretty clearly have the best and most complete team in the AFC South IMO.

Lol now it's the offense that got him the stats. You should be embarrassed with yourself.

I’m not bullish on Tenn, but they will 100% Be better

They were 3 minutes from winning the division playing a street free agent at qb

I think the Jags will be better as well - Lawrence has established himself as a strong QB and I expect their pass rush to be improved also. I think the Titans will be about the same - adding in Hopkins helps but they are still thin at receiver and their QB situation is one of the worst in the NFL. Also not sure about their pass rush or the depth of their defensive front 7.

the titans problem is remains that they have a bad defense and a bad offensive line... sure they drafted the kid in the first round... and should have a better offensive line than last year... but it wont just magically be a good one...

but yes, they should be better than last year... but problem is, so SHOULD the Jaguars... But the Jaguars defense is pretty damn bad too... so who knows what will happen...

Their defense is not the problem

Harold Landry missed the season and Simmons missed a chunk as well.

They also had the #1 rush defense in the league.

They had too many injuries as well.

The real problem was Willis ans dobbs were bad last year

Neither is going to factor into this season unless things go wrong again
