Game Thread: Denver Broncos at Los Angles Chargers

Coming off the the bye we go to Los Angles to face the Chargers. This will be a tough game as the Chargers always play the Broncos tough. We will see if the bye week tweeks help or if it more of playing tight games but lose in the end.

I don't know that the Chiefs will be challenged when it comes to the division at this point. Their remaining schedule is not as difficult.

At Raiders - 1-8
Vs Ravens - 4-5
Vs Chargers - 7-2
At Seahawks - 4-5
Vs Raiders- 1-8

Combined record of 26-29

Chargers remaining schedule is:
Vs Broncos - 3-6
At Steelers - 6-2-1
Vs Bengals - 5-4
At Chiefs - 9-1
vs Ravens - 4-5
At Broncos - 3-6

Combined record of 30-22-1

All this means is KC will get another opportunity to be one and done at home in the divisional round.

My hope is they go in as a 1 seed and lose in the divisional round. LOL Then we will have still won more playoff games at Arrowhead then they have since 1995.

The Chargers are currently listed as a 7 point favorite.

These teams are very close in almost every category. The big difference is the Chargers take care of the ball better than Denver and the rush defense. The Denver rush Defense has been much better of late. Their rush Defense looks much worse due to the Jets and Rams games. If Denver can avoid giving the ball way this should be a good game with hoping that our beloved Broncos can find those couple plays to come out on top.

Melvin Gordon will be the key player to stop for the defense. Hoping Cravens can be the difference maker for our Defense. Getting some guys healthy will be a benefit.

On offense balance will be key and that means that we can't fall behind early. If the offense is in 3rd and long or settle into just passing the ball it will allow the Chargers front 7 to exploit the issues in the offensive line.

I think winning any game is good for the confidence of the players. Even if winning the final game of the season helps start the offseason on a positive note and some momentum for 2019.

Well you'd think the 8th best team in the NFL in rushing could pick up 3 yards on 3 plays. Guess we were wrong.

Be nice if the D could get off the field on 3rd down. My goodness. Play good to great on 1st and 2nd down to repeatedly give it up on 3rd down. So frustrating.
