That's what I was thinking... Jerrah was quoted in saying that Randle would get the start. But I wouldn't trust that.

VP Jones said they're going to leave it up to Murray to decide whether or not the pain is too much.

It's his noncarrying hand, so they could throw a cast on that thing and he could probably give it a go.

If it was me I'd probably be dumb enough to play, as I would expect most people my age or younger.

That really wouldn't work. Maybe for a lineman, or possibly a strictly blocking TE, but players who handle the ball don't do it with a cast on. And when you think about it, there really isn't a "non-carrying" hand for a RB. They receive the hand off with both, they catch a toss with both, the blitz pickup with both, and most of all, depending on what area of the field a run ends up, a RB needs both hands to carry a ball at varying times during the game. The left third of the field requires the left hand, the right third, the right hand.

Is one hand more dominate than the other under normal circumstances? Sure it is, but both are needed to be effective. If it's strictly a pain tolerance issue and he can handle it, than more power to him. But if it requires a cast or any other dexterity limiting device, or if he can further injure it, he's not going to be playing. The Boys can handle one game without him, but losing him for more would be devastating.

I really don't understand why Joe randle is seen to be a must start this week... although, he very well might be, but can we get one thing straight, The cowboys are not going to run the ball 30+ times a game if it is randle!!! Nor will they use the same RB in both the passing game and the running game... There are many RBs I would rather start this week than randle even if Murray is not play... I certainly don't have him in my top 10 RBs this week!!!

But chef, I am putting a claim on him, my #2 claim after Asiata... I plan on getting the both of them!!!

Nor will they use the same RB in both the passing game and the running game... There are many RBs I would rather start this week than randle even if Murray is not play... Actually with that line I'm fairly confident that they are going to at least plan on running 25+ times. They cannot expose that defense to more than they have to and that's the formula that has worked all year. If they go back to last year's pass happy attack, Luck will have a field day.

But having said that, I agree that Randle is no must start. Dunbar is going to get a nice slice of that pie, and neither of them can do what Murray can.

My opponent in the semis has Murray and I picked up Randall off the WW with my second priority to block him (first priority was Douglas in case Julio can't go this week). i still think Murray plays, but I had room with getting rid of Sankey and Green Bay (have Seattle).

he's admitted to doing the same thing to me last year in which he beat me all three games including the championship. A good little rivalry between us as we were the top 2 last year and I'm sitting at #1 with him at 4 this year.
