Tomas cannot hit with runners on base/scoring position. He is horrible. I would trade him for absolutely anything at this point just to get out of his contract. 68.5 million dollars for a guy that cannot even drive in runs once in a while. And I do not even want to get started on Miller. That is looking like the worst trade in Arizona sports history and I am not talking about only baseball.

notice how the homers don't have much to say about it either. But if they win today, they will pop up out of the woodwork

there is absolutely no rationale behind todays lineup, other than Tomas in 8 spot. The fact that Ahmed and Weeks are even IN the lineup is just amazing to me. Its just lineup managing 101 to put your highest obp guys at the top, and let the rest sort itself out.............NAH, instead lets put the worst guys in front of Goldy

It's beyond ridiculous. I get so freaking irritated when I see Ahmed in the line-up. Start Bourn who as played well, move Owings to short. It's not that hard. You have Herrman you can stick out in RF in place of Weeks. Herrman has been batting great. I just don't understand these stupid moves by Hale.

well atleast Chris Owings continues to rake.......one of the guys i know a lot don't like on these boards but even with my negativity i still think that kid can be a solid everyday player that hits close to .280-.300 every season if stays healthy

Finally get to watch a game.

I suspect they are a bit low on position players tonight. Haven't heard but i am guessing Segura is out for at least the day. Also, just a guess but I am betting that Herrmann is catching tomorrow morning. So makes sense for him not to be in the lineup tonight except perhaps as a pinch hitter.

I kind of doubt Tomas is going anywhere unless he is hurt. Too much money. Have mixed opinions on him, but it was clear during spring training he had a spot regardless just like De La Rosa did. But it is nice to see him hit something while there were other runners on base. Nice 3 run HR. Seems to normally be a broken record with hits to the third baseman over and over.

Looks like Ahmed got a hit a minute ago. Too bad Goldy is now 0 for 2.

It's truly pathetic to have the pitcher-Ahmed-Weeks as the possible 3 guys set to bat in an inning. Wow.

another start out of Corbin where you are left thinking..................meh is this all he can do?

i think he is way overrated by the organization, aside from one allstar 1st half in 2013, hes never been anything other than a pretty good #3 type in a rotation, and on most days that is a bit of a stretch

a 4.25 era in NL...........so average

9 games out of first place now almost two months into the season. Can Hale get fired yet? Seriously, this season already feels like it over. I do not even think this team likes each other. When Nick Ahmed got hit in the face and the benches did not clear, I think that confirmed it. If two Cubs players were hit in the head, the Cubs entire bench would probably be going crazy and charge the field. I imagine most teams would react like that. The Diamondbacks did not even do anything. Players just stood there. What is going on with this team.

The Dbacks have been a bunch of heartless turds for some time now. They let the Dodgers pee in their pool with barely a raised eyebrow. The Ahmed beaning barely registers an emotion.

Not sure how they can expect their fans to think of them in anything but the same way.
