For the last 3 years a friend and I have a wager on futures wagers. It's for $100 and the rules are you place $100 in wagers on futures, at least 2 and no more than 5. Basically the loser pays for the winners bets. I placed 5 for $20 each.
Arizona to win NFC-W, $20 to win $130
Atlanta to win NFC-S, $20 to win $80
NY Giants over 7.5 games, $20 to win $32 - lost
Pittsburgh over 8.5 games, $20 to win $33 - won
Buffalo over 6.5 games, $20 to win $33 - won
So...for today I'm a Falcons fan, as this will win me my bet with him...and if by some miracle the Seahawks lose and the Cardinals win, I will more than double him up...and will torture him all year.
Anybody else place futures before the season and have them close to coming in?
