Writing on his Twitter page Monday evening, free agent FS Dashon Goldson mentioned the Cowboys as a team he'd like to join.
Goldson's market has been awfully quiet for a young player with so much talent. He may not have helped himself by taking a bit of a dig at the 49ers' organization. "I'm not sure what the 49ers' move was for," Goldson wrote, referring to Madieu Williams. "I guess to scare me. ... We'll it didn't work. Try again."

Well, Dashon, I'm definitely not going to miss those horrible angles you took to tackle open field receivers during your stint in a niner uniform.

You might have to eat those words Yosh With the Sensabaugh signing, and thus ruling Dallas out of the running, there is a good chance you might see Goldson and his bad angles for yet another season!

Does Trent Baalke know the concept of trading down and grabbing extra picks? Could have done that with Aldon, possibly could have done that with Mays from what I've read, etc.

I am kind of excited to see what Williams can do. I know his year last year wasn't all that impressive though. Goldson is kind of wearing out his welcome.

Making those comments about the Cowboys like he did the other day is definitely wearing out his welcome.

Yeah i wasn't all that high on Goldson to begin with then he started shooting off like he was football gods gift to free safety.

Big if, but if he can get trained up his upside is tremendous. I don't think im ready to give up on him just yet. He makes one heck of a special teams player if nothing else ;-)

But spending a 2nd round pick on a ST player is a heck of a reach.

Yeah i put the wink in there because i knew that, but its his potential that was worth the second round pick. I am just saying for right now at least hes a good special teams player

P.S. I didn't really like the pick just staying positive about it untill it blows up in our face.

I hear you man. Guy has got tremendous speed and physical tools - there's no questioning that. His issues are playing pass defense. His best bet is for Fangio to let him run loose and occasionally support the pass.

I was hoping we got Jeron Johnson as an UFA. That was a guy that could lay the wood at free safety and play the pass much better. Granted he was no were near Mays size and speed.
I am hoping Fangio finds a way to use him well too.

Playing close to the line and playing as the "underneath" support in pass coverage possibly. Also, playing cover 2 on passing situations is not out of the question - the guy certainly has the speed to run to the ball, it's just his naivety for "reading the play" that sucks right now.

Yeah hes bad at reading and terrible at angles from what i understand. I have not read anything yet as to if he is getting better at it or not.
